Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or would like support in working through challenges, therapy can be beneficial. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from counselling.
What happens in the first session?
Your first session is about getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss your current situation and what you hope to achieve.
Is what I share completely confidential?
Yes, everything you share is strictly confidential. I'm bound by professional ethical guidelines and will only break confidentiality in very rare circumstances where there's serious risk of harm.
How long does therapy take?
This varies greatly depending on your individual needs and goals. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others benefit from longer-term work.
