Professional Counselling Terms and Conditions
Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the provision of counselling services by Jun Jackson and the use of this website. By booking a session or using our services, you agree to these terms.
Professional Standards
Jun Jackson is a qualified counsellor who adheres to:
- Professional ethical guidelines
- Continuing professional development requirements
- Professional supervision arrangements
- Professional indemnity insurance coverage
Service Provision
Session Format
- Sessions are 50 minutes in duration
- Available in-person or online via secure platform
- Scheduled Monday to Friday, 9am-2pm
Booking and Payment
- Sessions costs will be communicated to you, and are payable, in advance
- Payment required when booking is confirmed
- Cancellation policy: 24 hours notice required
Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Attend sessions punctually and prepared
- Provide accurate contact and health information
- Give 24 hours notice for cancellations
- Respect the therapeutic environment and process
- Pay session fees as agreed
Confidentiality and Privacy
- All therapeutic communications are confidential
- Records are maintained according to professional standards
- Information sharing only occurs with consent or legal requirement

Limitations and Boundaries
Scope of Service
- Counselling is not a substitute for medical treatment
- Crisis support is limited - emergency services should be contacted for urgent needs
- Professional boundaries are maintained at all times
Availability
- Contact outside sessions is limited to appointment scheduling
- Emergency support: Contact GP, NHS 111, or emergency services
Cancellation Policy
Client Cancellations
- 24+ hours notice: No charge
- Less than 24 hours: Full session fee charged
- Non-attendance: Full session fee charged
Therapist Cancellations
- Alternative session offered where possible
- Full refund if rescheduling not possible
Technology and Online Sessions
For online sessions:
- Secure, professional platform used
- Reliable internet connection required
- Privacy and confidentiality maintained
- Technical issues may require rescheduling
Complaints Procedure
If you have concerns about our service:
- Discuss directly with Jun Jackson
- Formal written complaint if unresolved
- Contact professional body if necessary
- Independent mediation available
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of sessions provided. We cannot be held responsible for:
- Outcomes of therapy beyond professional care standards
- Technical issues with online platforms
- Third-party service failures
Termination of Service
Either party may terminate the therapeutic relationship:
- Client: At any time, notwithstanding the Client Cancellations Policy
- Therapist: With appropriate notice and support for transition
- Outstanding fees remain payable
Data Protection
Personal information is processed in accordance with:

Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
